NextDog

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

NextDog is a service of MeetingTV Inc. This Privacy Policy explains what MeetingTV Inc. and its NextDog service (“NextDog,” “we,” “us”) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, verify dogs, show dogs on the map, run the Nextminster Fun Show and voting, send account emails (like password resets and email-change confirmations), personalize content and offers (including offers from partners), prevent abuse, and improve NextDog.

Optional pet-care preferences

After you verify a dog, you can choose to tell us about its care: food type, car trips, flea/tick medication, grooming, whether your dog has pet insurance, and activity level. Every answer is optional. We use these preferences to personalize content and offers on NextDog, including offers from partners. We don’t sell these individual answers, and we don’t share them with partners in a form that identifies you; partners see only aggregated, de-identified counts. These answers are never shown publicly. You can edit or delete them anytime from your account page, and they are deleted if you remove the dog’s verification or your account is deleted.

What’s public

Dogs on the map, including verified dogs and dogs drawn from publicly available information and user submissions, are shown only at the neighborhood level (city, ZIP or neighborhood) with dog details such as name, breed, sex, color and age, never with an owner’s name, street address or contact details. Show entries, their dog names, categories, towns, and thumbs-up and view counts are public. Dogtalk posts you write are public and show your home city, never your email or street address. Your email, the street address you enter, and your pet-care preferences stay private.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run NextDog (such as hosting, storage, and email delivery), when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. We don’t share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Cookies and sessions

We use a secure session cookie to keep you logged in and store a few preferences in your browser. To count each Nextminster video view once, we set a random device cookie for visitors who aren’t logged in and store only a one-way hash of it. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to run NextDog, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes and claims. Content you gave us rights to use under the Terms of Use may remain in use after your account ends. Password-reset and email-change links expire after 24 hours.

Deleting your information

To delete your account or specific content, email [email protected] from your account email.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can use an authorized agent.

NextDog accounts are for adults 18 and older only, and new accounts must confirm they are 18 or older. MeetingTV Inc. does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, or to anyone under 18, we will delete the account and its data.
